I Googled It For You

Browser-based utility

Can your browser reach this website?

Enter a website address to check whether your browser can make contact, how long the request takes, and whether the site permits basic response details to be read.

Enter a website address

Only HTTP and HTTPS addresses are accepted. The URL is checked from this browser.

What this check means

A response with a visible status means the site permits browser-based inspection. A limited result means the browser completed a request but the site’s cross-origin policy hid the status and page details. Public DNS resolution means Cloudflare’s resolver found an address; it does not prove that the web server accepts connections.

Why status details may be hidden

Websites control which other sites may read their responses. That browser security boundary is called cross-origin policy.

Timing is local

The timing includes this browser, network, connection, redirects, and the site’s response. It is not a universal server-speed measurement.

Use a monitoring service for certainty

A one-time browser check cannot monitor a site, inspect DNS or certificates, or prove that every visitor can connect.

Assumptions and limits

This prototype makes requests from your browser and does not send your URL to our server or store the result. The optional DNS check sends the hostname to Cloudflare’s public DNS resolver. Results can differ by network, browser, location, redirects, firewalls, maintenance pages, and site security settings. Treat an unreachable result as a prompt to investigate—not proof that a website is down.
